I have a thing for blankets, I love them - especially if someone has made it by hand. When I was pregnant with Beckett I was sent so many beautiful handmade blankets, each one has been loved and used frequently. I do have a favorite, it's a waffle fleece blanket made by a Mompreneur in Port Moody - her company is called Lil Monkeys. The blanket is special for a few reasons, it has Beckett's name on it, it's warm, soft and really, really cute. I have attached a photo of Beckett and Dave with the blanket. I just ordered one for Zo�, she has to have one too...hers is pink and purple and it will be well loved too.
The other favourite blanket around our house is the "tag blanket" (the Lil Monkey's blanket has tags around them too). When I first saw the tags I had no idea what the appeal was, now I know. Beckett loves to touch and chew on the tags and now his little sister is on the tag bandwagon. My mom started making little tag blankets so we have them in all sizes and colors! She's even started selling them in a kid's store, tags are big with babies!
Are your kids into tags? How come kids always find the tag on the toy more interesting than the actual toy?!
