Jordan Ramsay, 27, has been charged with one count of second degree murder after a domestic dispute at a North Vancouver apartment on Saturday.

On Nov. 5 police arrived in the 500-block of West 28th Street at around 1:30 a.m. after receiving a 911 call from a neighbour who reported hearing screaming and yelling.

Donald Ramsay, 53, was found dead and his wife Wendy Ramsay, 53, was found seriously injured in the apartment they had been living in with their son. The woman is still in hospital and the son has also been charged with one count of attempted murder.

The young man was extremely uncooperative and combative when police found him in the home, Sgt. Jennifer Pound told ctvbc.ca. He was taken into custody once restrained by a Taser and pepper spray.

Jordan Ramsay remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 7.
