Traffic is moving again on the Sea-to-Sky Highway after a serious crash sent two people to hospital in an air ambulance in critical condition.
Witness photos and videos appear to show a motorcycle and a car involved in the crash, which happened at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the southbound lanes near Lions Bay.
BC Ambulance confirmed two people were flown by air ambulance to a nearby hospital.
One witness said he saw an older couple being airlifted from the scene, but officials have not confirmed their identities.
The collision caused major traffic delays, shutting down the highway for a little over an hour, but DriveBC said northbound lanes reopened just after 6 p.m.
Southbound traffic started moving again at around 6:30.
Delays were expected as traffic returned to normal.
