A member of the Vancouver Police Department has been charged with four counts of domestic assault.
The officer has been transferred to administrative duties pending the outcome of court proceedings, according to a police press release.
His name is not being released because of a publication ban to protect the identities of the victims.
The officer was charged on Friday.
The file will be investigated by the Burnaby RCMP.
