VANCOUVER -

Professional Chef Thea VanHerwaarden is a Vancouver local who was previously featured on MasterChef Canada seasons 4 and 7.

VanHerwaarden joined CTV Morning Live to create an open-face winter chicken salad sandwich, using Oroweat Organic Thin-Sliced 22 Grains and Seeds bread.

The dish celebrates local ingredients, plus offers healthy benefits.

Oroweat Organic is produced at Langley Bakery in Langley, B.C. It is plant-based and non-GMO certified.

The Oroweat Organic Thin-Sliced 22 Grains and Seeds bread is only 60 calories per slice.

The dish VanHerwaarden shared was inspired by The B.C. Bite Sandwich currently available at DALINA Café in Vancouver.

The B.C. Bite Sandwich can be ordered via Uber Eats or the Craver App and is available at DALINA until December 10th.
