The Vancouver Canucks signed three more players to their roster Monday.

Canucks president and general manager Mike Gillis announced the team has locked-in forwards Tanner Glass and Alexandre Bolduc and defenceman Shane O'Brien.

O'Brien, 26, joined the Canucks in October 2008-09 after a trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning. He is known for his feisty play and hot temper.

He finished the 2009-10 season with two goals, six assists and eight points. O'Brien also had 79 penalty minutes in 65 games.

The Port Hope, Ontario, native also led the Canucks defencemen with 112 hits, and was second in team plus/minus with a plus-15 rating.

Controversy followed O'Brien after the Vancouver 2010 Olympic break. He was a healthy scratch after being late for practice and accused of eating too much over the break.

The hard-nosed defenceman let it be known that he wanted to stay in Vancouver despite being a restricted free agent, and voiced his desire to prove he's matured and stay with the Canucks.

In 299 NHL games the 6-3 blue liner has 55 points and spent 605 minutes in the penalty box.

Glass, 26, is a physical forward and finished the 2009-10 season with a career high 11 points and 165 penalty minutes in 65 games.

The Regina, Saskatchewan, native led all Canucks in hits with 165 last season.

Glass was originally selected 265th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Florida Panthers.

Bolduc, 25, split last season with the Canucks and the club's farm team, the Manitoba Moose.

The Montreal, Quebec, native collected three points and 20 penalty minutes in 13 games with the Moose.

The Canucks will continue to prepare their roster for training camp which starts in two months, from September 12 to 16.
