Previously, Krause was a videographer and anchor with CTV News Barrie and Global News Kingston, where he did everything from investigative reporting to human interest stories.
Krause's work in Ontario included a series on a Kingston church accused of practising conversion therapy, and an investigation into alleged sexual assaults on children living in foster care.
He also reported live on the Wet’suwet’en protests in that province, and was on scene during the 2021 Barrie tornado to document the life-altering damage the storm left behind.
