BAYAMON, Puerto Rico - Ansu Toure scored Vancouver's lone goal as the Whitecaps had to settle for a 1-1 draw with the Puerto Rico Islanders on Wednesday in the second stop on Vancouver's five-game road trip.

Toure headed in a cross from Cornelius Stewart in the 10th minute to open scoring at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium before Puerto Rico's Richard Martinez equalized in the 36th minute.

The Whitecaps (5-2-5) stretched their USSF Division 2 unbeaten streak to four with the victory. They lead the NASL Conference standings by five points over the Montreal Impact.

The Islanders dropped to 3-5-1.
