The wife of a missing Kelowna, B.C., father-of-four says his disappearance has been "a living hell" for their family.

"I've never experienced pain like this in my life. Each day I want to wake up and have this nightmare not happening to me and my family," Tammy Meisner told reporters at a press conference in Kelowna Tuesday morning.

Thirty-three-year-old Geoff Meisner, a salesman and mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter, was last seen outside an Orchard Park shopping mall in Kelowna on November 27th. His 2010 Ford F350 was found outside a Starbucks on Highway 97.

There has been no trace of the 275-pound dad since.

"Our five-year-old daughter wants her daddy home and walks around the house calling for him," Tammy said.

"Our seven-year-old daughter has had a pain in her stomach since her daddy didn't come home."

MMA connection?

Police say the world of MMA fighting Meisner is involved in is popular in gang culture. There have been several recent violent incidents outside the ring.

Fighter Chu Ka "Jonathan" Chang, 27, of Vancouver was shot to death outside a Burnaby martial arts academy in October.

In October 2008, a known-gang member was shot and killed in an Abbotsford extreme fighting gym. But Meisner has no criminal record, and his family says there's been no evidence of any dangerous liaisons.

Tammy Meisner said she would be surprised if Meisner was associated with any gang members.

Gord Meisner, Geoff's father, says they can't rule anything out.

"I just recently found out that there are shady people," the ex-RCMP officer told CTV News.

Police are echoing that sentiment.

"We are continuing to follow-up leads and we are asking for more information, because what we are following up at this point has brought us to anything conclusive," Kelowna RCMP Const. Steve Holmes said.

Tammy Meisner is pleading with anyone with information to come forward for the sake of her family.

"Someone somewhere knows something, they have to."

The couple had just moved into a new home in mid-November. More than 2,600 people have joined a Facebook page dedicated to finding Meisner.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-250-762-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
