It was a frightening scene near Rogers Arena Monday night when a taxi suddenly burst into flames.
The cab was stopped at a red light on Expo Boulevard at around 6:30 p.m. when the driver noticed an electrical problem, according to Black Top Checker Cabs.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was able to escape before the car was completely engulfed in flames.
He escaped without injuries, but the car was completely destroyed.
A witness was able to record video of the fiery incident.
