A man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in Cloverdale has been found shot to death inside a car outside a Guildford-area residence. Surrey RCMP say it appears he died after shooting himself.

Just after 12:30 a.m., police say a woman, believed to be in her 20s, was found lying in the middle of a road in a Cloverdale neighbourhood suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.

So far, investigators believe this was a targeted attack and say it's a case of domestic violence and not related to gangs, drugs or organized crime.

Police are not releasing the names of the dead, but neighbours have identified Aaron Ogrodnick as the man who killed himself, and Marian Tsanas as long-time girlfriend.

Three hours earlier, a man in his 20s was killed in a hail of bullets in a targeted shooting in a Coquitlam parking lot near a Superstore. Police say the two incidents are not connected.

No names of either victim have been released and no arrests have been made in the Coquitlam shooting.
