An arrest has been made in the murder and robbery of a Victoria, B.C., man discovered dead in his apartment 18 months ago.

The body of 46-year-old Paul Rouxel was found in a suite in the View Towers building at 1147 Quadra Street on April 9, 2009.

At the time, police deemed the death suspicious, but after more than a year of forensics work, investigators determined that Rouxel had been murdered.

Wyatt Prince was arrested on Monday night in connection to Rouxel's death, and makes his next appearance in court on Oct. 21.

Prince is also facing weapons and threats charges related to a separate case.
