A Vancouver Island man awaiting trial for one murder has now been charged with killing two more people.

Darcy William Kozak, a 38-year-old Campbell River man, was charged Thursday with the 2008 murders of Luc Rene Dulude and Kenneth Allan Leask.

Dulude's body was discovered in an unoccupied commercial building in Campbell River in December 2008. At about the same time, police learned of the suspicious disappearance of Leask, whom they now believe was murdered that fall.

Kozak is already in prison charged with the 2007 murder of Kenneth Douglas Robinson.

The body of 45-year-old Robinson, a well-known homeless man from Nanaimo, was discovered in a wooded area near Shawnigan Lake in August 2007. Kozak was arrested and charged with the murder two years later.

A court date has yet to be scheduled for Kozak.
