Police in Coquitlam are investigating after a man was shot in the head with a pellet gun and bear-sprayed during a robbery Tuesday night.

RCMP say they received a call about an injured man suffering serious injuries in the Safeway parking lot at Sunwood Square, at Westwood Street and Lougheed Highway, at about 10:40 p.m.
