A unique brand of Christmas ornaments has become an unlikely seasonal hit, but you won’t find them on any tree.

Beard Baubles are tiny festive balls that can be hung on -- you guessed it -- a man’s beard.

Originally created to be used for a London agency’s annual tongue-in-cheek Christmas card, the baubles were soon put into production, with funds going to charity.

The holiday ornaments may seem strange, but they’re a best-seller: The Daily Mail in the UK is already calling them “the new must-have hipster accessory.”

They’re also quite popular with hairy dogs, according to its creators.

The packs, which sell for the equivalent of about $7, are currently completely sold out online.

Proceeds go to Beard Season, an initiative to end melanoma, a deadly skin cancer.

Similar to the prostate cancer fundraiser Movember where men sport moustaches in November, Beard Season encourages gentlemen to “grow an epic beard” in December and convince as many men as possible to have their skin checked.

It started in sun-drenched Australia, where more young people are killed by melanoma than any other cancer.
