1. May the 4th be with you: Don't be alarmed if you see a few Wookies or Stormtroopers around town on Star Wars Day. May the 4th is dedicated to the sci-fi series. It plays on one of the most well-known sayings from the series: “May the force be with you."

2. Search called off: A Kamloops, B.C., family with two young children has been found after search-and-rescue teams were dispatched to look for them. Alan Hobler, the search manager of Kamloops Search and Rescue, said the family had gone out “mud bogging” near McLure, just outside of Kamloops, and were expected back around 3 p.m. Sunday. When they didn’t return, another family member reported them missing.

3. SkyTrain issues: Stop us if you’ve heard this before. The Skytrain was shut down between Commercial-Broadway Station and Waterfront Station for hours on Sunday night due to a switch issue.

4. Last minute diversion: A plane bound for Seattle was diverted to YVR at the last minute due to problems with an electrical system.

5. Abbotsford attack: A 55-year-old man is recovering in hospital after he was assaulted in his home in Abbotsford early Sunday morning. Abbotsford Police Const. ian MacDonald described the scene as “chaotic” and “There was a fair amount of mayhem.”
