Three men, including two security screeners at Vancouver International Airport, are facing charges in a plot to export more than 14 kilograms of the drug ecstasy.

Police say the plan was discovered after officers of the Canada Border Services Agency stopped a 20-year-old passenger in the post security screening section of the U.S. departures area of the airport on May 9.

The man admitted to carrying 14.7 kilos of the drug in his backpack and was immediately arrested.

The following investigation uncovered a drug export conspiracy allegedly involving two uniformed screening officers working for a company under contract from the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority.

Police arrested 24-year-old Gurvinder Singh Pahl of Richmond and 31-year-old Ajitpal Singh Judge of Surrey, who each face drug trafficking charges, plus a charge of breach of trust.

The alleged drug courier, Dylan Scott Green of Vancouver, is also facing drug trafficking charges.
