Vancouver police are investigating after a woman’s body was found in Stanley Park on Tuesday afternoon.
Just before 1 p.m., police were called to the 2100-block of Stanley Park Drive, which is near the park’s iconic lighthouse. An individual had found a body in a wooded area of the park and alerted officers.
Police confirmed the body of a woman in her 40s was found.
The VPD Forensics Unit is investigating the death, which does not appear suspicious at this time.
