Surrey RCMP are searching for a newer, dark-coloured pickup truck after a hit-and-run Saturday night injured two people.

Police say the truck hit a grey Mazda 3 at the intersection of 138th Street and 92nd Avenue. The car crashed into a retaining wall. The truck fled the scene following the accident.

Two passengers in the car were taken to hospital with significant but non-life threatening injuries.

The truck was last seen driving west on 92nd Avenue in Surrey. Police say the vehicle may have front end damage. Anyone with information is asked to call Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or Crime Stoppers.
