Remembrance Day poppy campaign begins

Today marks the official start of the annual Canadian Legion poppy campaign.

Distribution of poppies and collection of donations will continue until Remembrance Day, November 11th.

The poppy is the official symbol of remembrance, memorializing the 117-thousand Canadians who have died in military service.
