Abbotsford police say they've busted a fledgling gang that had splintered away from an established criminal group in the B.C. Fraser Valley.
Two brothers and two other men are facing a laundry list of drug and weapons charges stemming from an alleged home invasion on Nov. 5.
Police believe the men used to belong to an active criminal organization called the Duthe Group.
Const. Ian MacDonald said the men are all well known to police agencies outside of Abbotsford. He says their arrests have disrupted "an active drug supply line" in the area.
Aaron Somerville, 24, is charged with cocaine trafficking. His brother Matthew, 25, is also facing four counts.
Michael Lopeke, 22, and Jared Klade, 23, are each charged with robbery with a firearm, break-and-enter, unlawful confinement, assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
The arrests come after a six-week investigation.
