Nearly $8 million is waiting to be claimed for Lotto 6/49 tickets sold in British Columbia, according to the province's gaming corporation.

A single ticket sold in Richmond matched all six numbers in last Wednesday's draw, winning more than $7 million.

The BC Lottery Corporation says another ticket sold in Surrey matched five out of six numbers to win $260,000, while a third ticket sold in Nanaimo matched all four Extra numbers to win $500,000.The Surrey prize was claimed Wednesday afternoon.

The players have one year from the Aug. 3 draw date to claim their prizes.

This Saturday's Lotto 6/49 draw is for an estimated $7 million.
