The BC Lions may have lost Jarious Jackson to injury but they do have a healthy Geroy Simon.

And Simon has been known to save his best for the second half of the season.

The Lions' slotback feels like he's hit a turning point in the season. Just last week, he got his first 100-yard game of the season.

"I felt like I was part of the game. I felt like I made a difference in the game," he said.

During the last two seasons, most of Simon's production has come in the second half of the season: 20 more receptions, 537 more yards and eight more touchdown catches after Labour Day.

This season appears to be no different.

Coach Wally Buono knows it.

"For this team to make strides and to win on a more consistent basis, obviously he's got to play a bigger part," he said.

For Simon, it comes down to this.

"I'm doing all the same things I've just got to get the ball in my hand."
