Ronnie Joe is the horse that got stuck in an underground water tank and was eventually pulled to safety.

Her owner, Stu Bolander, is proud to report "the 24-year-old mare has her appetite back and her vital signs strong."

Two weeks ago, no one knew whether this horse would survive after falling through a two and half square foot hole then getting stuck in an underground tank full of freezing water.

She spent hours there until firefighters pulled her to safety.

Bolander, was out of the country at the time of incident, came back to find the former race horse had sustained only cuts and no broken bones.

The hole, where the water tank was, has since been filled in with earth.

Bolander says Ronnie Joe "is happy, she's feeling good and she's just doing great."
