Becca Clarkson
Becca Clarkson is a digital writer and reporter for CTV News Vancouver.
She joined the newsroom as a multi-skilled associate producer in November 2021, after working as a writer for Global National for nearly four years.
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and raised in North Vancouver, B.C., Becca attended musical theatre college in Toronto before earning a BFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia in 2015.
Becca’s work has appeared in Vancouver Magazine, The Globe and Mail and on CBC’s North By Northwest. She’s also the editor of the independent arts publication SAD Magazine, and hosts an associated podcast. Most recently, she’s been paired with Stacy Lee Kong for The Canadian Association of Journalists’ Mentorship Program.
