A B.C. father has been charged for allegedly hiring out his underage daughter for sex with at least three men.
The 46-year-old Penticton man was arrested on July 22, and has been charged with nine criminal counts, including sexual assault and living on the avails of prostitution. Police are not releasing his name because a publication ban is in effect.
The father remains in custody until a bail hearing in September, and government social workers are providing support to his daughter, whose age has not been released.
Since the arrest, police have also identified three men suspected of paying for sex with the young girl. The Penticton men are aged 34, 63 and 67, and are scheduled to appear in court in September and October.
All three suspected johns have been released from custody on a promise to appear in court.
