Police have issued another public warning about a high-risk sex offender who went missing in Vancouver.

Investigators launched a hunt for Gary Vogrig after the 51-year-old convict failed to return to his halfway house Monday night.

Meanwhile, two other sex offenders who vanished earlier this month – 48-year-old Timothy Daniel Jones and 46-year-old Gerald Richard McLean – remain on the loose.

Police said Vogrig has an extensive criminal history involving charges of assault, sexual assault, unlawful confinement, robbery and uttering threats.

He was on a statutory release after serving a four year, six month sentence for sexual assault and threatening.

Vogrig is described as white, 5’11” tall, 165 lbs. with shaved brown hair, a moustache and hazel eyes. He has a small cross tattoo on his right arm, an unfinished wolverine on his left arm, and four burn marks on his left arm.

Jones, who was convicted of sexually assaulting a child in 2000 and a teenager in 1995, disappeared from his halfway house on May 8. McLean, who has been convicted for three sexual assaults against teenage and adult women, went missing on May 13.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of any of the men is advised not to approach them, and asked to call 911 immediately.
