The lawyer for a coalition of environmental groups will continue questioning Northern Gateway experts this morning at federal review panel hearings in Prince Rupert.
A dozen experts are testifying under oath about the marine oil spill plans that form part of the company's application to build a pipeline from Alberta to a tanker port in Kitimat.
Karen Campbell -- who represents ForestEthics, Raincoast Conservation and Living Oceans -- is questioning reports and statistics the company has supplied to the panel.
She pointed out yesterday that one of the reports was funded by Exxon Mobil -- while figures in another differ significantly from a recent study on species recovery released by a trustee committee monitoring the impact of the 1989 Exxon Valdez disaster.
