A gas leak forced the evacuation of several buildings downtown Vancouver Wednesday morning, including the BC Supreme Court.
Vancouver police spokesperson Laurel Kennedy said an underground gas line was hit in a construction site in the 700-block of Nelson Street.
Police evacuated buildings in the 900 and 1000-block of Granville, Howe and Hornby streets, as well as the 700 and 800-blocks of Nelson Street as a precaution.
