Police seized several bottles, including what appeared to be wine and cinnamon whiskey, following a crash between a car and an unmarked police cruiser overnight.
Few details have been confirmed by police, but the car seems to have rear-ended the cruiser near Kingsway and Grange Street in Burnaby.
The crash shut down Kingsway to traffic for a short time starting around midnight.
Officers were seen carrying several bottles of various sizes out of the car, and taking them away in evidence bags.
Mounties haven't said whether the driver is facing any charges.
