A teacher in Victoria, B.C., has been banned from going near the school where he works after being charged with harassing two women.
Francesco Gabriel Canacari, who goes by Frank, was arrested in May in connection with the alleged harassment of a 30-year-old Esquimalt woman.
After Canacari was released on a promise to appear, Victoria police uncovered what they say is a similar incident involving a 39-year-old Saanich woman.
He was arrested again on Wednesday, and escorted from Victoria High School, where he works as a teacher.
The 43-year-old now faces two charges each of harassment and being inside a home illegally.
Canacari appeared in Victoria provincial court Thursday and was released on several conditions, including that he stay away from Victoria High School.
Police say they are continuing their investigation into Canacari, and are asking for the public's help.
"We do believe there's a possibility there could be additional females out there that were subjected to similar behaviour or unwanted contact by this male. So we're asking those witnesses or anyone who has information or may have experienced similar behaviour to contact our department," Sgt. Grant Hamilton told reporters.
