Two people were rushed to hospital early Tuesday morning after a suspected home invasion near King George Highway in Surrey.

Police responded to the home on Bolivar Crescent near 112th Ave. after receiving 911 calls of hearing screaming coming from inside.

Responding officers entered the residence to find that a number of suspects had "entered by force."

The two people inside, a man and a woman, were assaulted. They were treated for non-life threatening injuries. The suspects fled by foot but could not be found.
