Mounties in Langley, B.C., have made a plea for the public's assistance in identifying a man whose remains were discovered in a burned-out car last week.
A stolen white Chevrolet Camaro was found flaming on railway tracks north of 96th Avenue, just west of 208th Street at about 1:00 a.m Wednesday morning.
After fire fighters extinguished the blaze, a man's body was located inside the car. The fire had rendered him unrecognizable.
On Tuesday, RCMP officers released a description of the victim. According to police, he's between 20 and 40-years old and about six feet tall. He was wearing a hoop earring in his right ear, and had a white porcelain crown on his upper-right front tooth.
"We want to draw some attention to the file, and hopefully someone can help us identify who the victim is," Cpl. Dale Carr said Tuesday.

Though the death is considered suspicious, it has yet to be labeled a homicide.
"We continue to investigate it like a homicide, but to have it conclusively classified - we haven't got there yet," Carr said. "We still have to wait for a number of items to come back."
Anyone who can help identify the victim is asked to call investigators at 1-877-551-IHIT or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
