White Rock RCMP are looking for a missing 20-year-old man who has not been seen in four days and is now one of dozens of young, healthy males who have mysteriously vanished in B.C. in recent years.

Daniel Bouchard was with his friends at a pub on Monday night. His family knows he made it home that night because the jacket he was wearing that was found in his suite.

"Whether he was home for five minutes or five hours we don't know," said his father, Dan Bouchard. "But at some point in time, he obviously went back out and nobody has seen or heard from him since."

Daniel Bouchard is described as 5'11 tall and 200 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a green Guinness rugby jersey and blue jeans.

He was last seen Monday evening near Thrift Avenue and Johnston Road -- and he has not contacted friends, family or his employer since.

His family and friends say the disappearance is very unusual and are asking for help from the public to locate him.

"We're waiting, we're looking, we're posting pictures," said his mother, Sandra Bouchard. "We're doing whatever we can to get Daniel home."

Daniel Bouchard's girlfriend has started a Facebook page to help find her boyfriend. She says the last time she saw Bouchard, everything seemed fine.

"He's happy. He's always happy," she said.

Anyone with information on Bouchard's disappearance is asked to call Const. Phillips at the White Rock RCMP detachment at 604-531-5527, or Crimestoppers at 669-TIPS.

Dozens of young, healthy men have mysteriously vanished in B.C. in recent years. Many of their families suspect the disappearances are connected but the police say no.

The list of other young men who have disappeared in B.C. is a long one and includes Michael Scullion, Derek Kelly, Jeffrey Surtel, Kellen McElwee, Brian Braumberger and John Kahler.

Many of their families suspect the disappearances ma connected. But police say this isn't so.

Lori Kahler's brother John disappeared after he went camping near Mission last November. The family goes back every weekend to put up posters and look for some sign of him.

"It's my hell. It's my living hell," she said. "And I just never want to go there again. And if people don't want to see us up there, let us know where he is."

Police say there is no evidence to link any of the missing men, but are currently looking into financial transactions in the Vancouver area that may involve Daniel Bouchard.
