Police are asking for help in locating a Coquitlam man wanted in connected with the kidnapping and aggravated assault of a Metro Vancouver man who was forcibly confined and mutilated in December 2006.
The B.C. Integrated Gang Task Force said 26-year-old Troy Dax McKinnon is wanted on a warrant to face six charges. A co-accused in the case, Jesse John Margison, is now in custody but McKinnon's whereabouts is unknown.
McKinnon is violent, armed and dangerous and is described as a white male, 6'3" and 181 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes and was last known to reside in the 600 blk of Linton St, Coquitlam. He is well known to law enforcement within the Metro Vancouver region.
McKinnon is charged with one count each of: kidnapping, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, uttering threats, and extortion. He also faces two counts of Using an Imitation Firearm during the commission of an offence.
