A man is dead following Tuesday's hotel fire in Prince George.

The 58-year-old resident of the northern British Columbia city was flown to Vancouver with critical burns, but died in hospital.

Two men are still missing. Fire investigators are sifting through the ashes of the Columbus hotel looking for any sign of the missing pair.

Flames raced through the 92-year old structure early Tuesday causing the roof and one wall to collapse.

It's believed 10-people were living inside when it burned to the ground. A cause hasn't been determined and police won't say if the fire is suspicious.
