The mother of Robert Dziekanski is livid after being told another Polish family has had trouble tracking their loved one at Vancouver International Airport.

Kamloops resident Zofia Cisowski says the incident last Sunday suggests nothing has changed at the airport, despite her son's death and a resulting inquiry.

She says airport officials and Canada Border Services Agency have learned nothing from the Oct. 2007 death of Dziekanski.

The 41-year-old Polish man died after wandering at the airport for 10 hours before becoming agitated and being jolted multiple times by an RCMP Taser.

Cisowski says she received no help finding her son and she's horrified Wes Abramowicz faced the same difficulties as he tried to track his 28-year-old nephew.

Abramowicz says border officials repeatedly refused to release information about his nephew but after six hours admitted the man was being held on immigration concerns.
