Brent Shearer is a reporter for CTV News British Columbia
Brent starts his day early as the CTV Morning Live field reporter. From breaking news to features and all points in between, he's out there every weekday, rain or shine.
He joined CTV News as a news reporter in September 2010 after working with our sister television station, CTV Two Vancouver Island (formerly known as /A\ Vancouver Island). He has worked in radio and spent time behind the camera as a videographer.
When he's not out reporting, you can usually find him exploring the mountains. Brent is an avid skier and snowboarder during the winter months, and spends the rest of the year mountain biking and trail running. In summer 2012 he is tackling Ironman Canada.
Brent has a bachelor's degree from the University of British Columbia and earned a broadcast journalism diploma at the B.C. Institute of Technology.
