Charges have been dropped against two B.C. junior hockey players accused of brawling off the ice last year.

Vancouver Giants forward Jackson Houck and leading scorer Brett Kulak were arrested after a fight broke out at a Tsawwassen house party Aug. 18.

The lone victim suffered a broken nose.

Both men were charged with assault causing bodily harm and another count of uttering threats was approved against Kulak.

All charges were eventually dropped, but Houck and Kulak were reportedly forced to perform community service.

The Vancouver Giants are a Western Hockey League team and both Houck and Kulak are NHL prospects.
