A final week of testimony gets underway today at the inquiry examining the October 2007 death of Robert Dziekanski.

The 40 year-old died at Vancouver International Airport in the minutes after he was stunned five times by an RCMP Taser as officers responded to reports of an agitated man.

Simon Fraser University marketing professor Lindsay Meredith says Mounties have not yet recovered from the public relations nightmare created when a by-stander's video clashed with police reports of the incident.

The inquiry's final witnesses will testify about that video and the retired judge hearing the matter will then write his report -- which could be ready by the fall.
