Wildfire burning near Kamloops, B.C.

A fire burning 40 kilometres west of Kamloops reached 30 hectares in size Monday, according to the B.C. Wildfire Management Branch.

Firefighters, air tankers, helicopters and heavy equipment are on site to fight the blaze off Tunkwa Lake Road.

There is no word on the cause of the fire.
