A 30-year-old Ontario man has been arrested in Brampton and will be returned to Vancouver to face trial for a pair of sexual assaults.
Vancouver police say they were led to 30-year-old Kyle David Grantmyre after an appeal last June for information that could lead to the man involved in two assaults on women in the city's downtown core.
The appeal included information about a baseball hat allegedly dropped by the suspect during the second assault -- which occurred early last May, just hours after the first one -- although both victims fought back and neither was seriously hurt.
Police say Grantmyre was arrested Wednesday and remains in custody in Ontario charged with two counts of sexual assault
