The Independent Investigations Office is has been called in to probe an officer-involved fatality in Vancouver.
Police said a man who was threatening to harm himself with a knife was Tasered by police at around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The man also sustained self-inflicted injuries and was transported to hospital where he later died, according to police.
The IIO was called in at 11:09 a.m. and is investigating the death.
