A second person has been charged in the 2009 stabbing death of Nasir Khokhar in Merritt, B.C.
The body of 28-year-old Khokhar was found on the morning of Sept. 25 on a baseball diamond at Voght Park.
RCMP have now confirmed that Khokhar was stabbed to death.
A 22-year-old man was arrested Wednesday on the Sugar Cane First Nations Reserve near Williams Lake, and faces charges of second-degree murder in Khokhar's death. He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 30.
In October 2009, a 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged with the same offence. The preliminary inquiry into his case is scheduled to start on Oct. 18.
