VANCOUVER - TransLink says it expected to cancel 20 SeaBus sailings on Saturday as transit workers enter their second day of job action.

The transit authority says sailings between 4:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. will happen every half hour instead of every 15 minutes.

After that, regular service of sailings every half hour until the last SeaBus of the night will continue.

On Friday, TransLink cancelled seven SeaBus round trips, totalling 14 sailings, during the first day of job action.

The first stage of the transit workers' action includes them not wearing uniforms and refusing overtime.

Unifor, the union representing 5,000 transit workers, is asking for an additional $608 million in wages, benefits and improvements to working conditions over 10 years.
