The young man whose mother and three siblings died in a Vancouver arson fire has testified in court about that horrible night in May 2006.

Yesterday, T.J. Etibako told a B.C. Supreme Court jury that he came home at 5 a.m. to find the charred bodies of his mother and three siblings lying in front of their burned-out townhouse.

Etibako, now 21, testified he had been out for dinner and drinks with friends that night.

He was testifying at the first degree murder trial of Nathan Fry, the man accused in the deaths of the Etibakos and a family friend who was staying for the night.

Younger brother Bolingo Etibako, 16, was the sole survivor of the fire that killed his mother Adela, 39, his sisters Edita, 12, Benedicta, 9, and 8-year-old Stephane.

Bolingo's girlfriend, Ashley Singh, was also killed.

T.J. Etibako says he has had trouble sleeping since the fire, and has started drinking heavily.
