Six men are in custody and a seventh is on the run and may be injured, after a wild shootout in Coquitlam, B.C., on Thursday afternoon.
Four men were initially arrested and two others were arrested later.
Police teams from both the Burnaby and Coquitlam RCMP detachments searched for the suspects. CTV News received several reports of multiple shots fired near Como Lake Ave. and North Rd. around 2:30 p.m.
RCMP spokesman Peter Thiessen said the arrested men had no known gang ties.
At least six police vehicles blocked the entrance to North Road where the incident took place.
