The RCMP says there is no new information on who may be responsible for the two pipeline bombings that have shaken B.C.'s northeast although investigators remain at the scene.

Sgt. Tim Shields says police and EnCana officials met with almost 200 people at a community meeting near Dawson Creek last night.

Shields says there is an understandable amount of fear and concern in the community following the attacks last weekend and last Wednesday night.

Police also continue to sift through tips after a warning letter labelling energy companies as terrorists was sent to local media.

Shields says the tips point in several directions, and police are following them up as quickly as they can.

The Mounties' national terrorism unit and explosives experts are at the site of the second bombing to learn more about the device used and how it was placed.
