This Sunday you will have a chance to see the new super c class ferry, the MV Coastal Renaissance. The public is invited to tour the ship docked at Canada Place from noon until five. But our David Kincaid is not a patient man and he leapt aboard early for a sneak peek Where We Live.

The pride of the BC Ferries fleet is tied up at Canada Place for the weekend. The brand spanking new MV Coastal Renaissance has pretty much what you'd expect from a state of the art ferry boat. Very airy, nice public spaces, good amenities and room for 370 cars. Everything spotlessly clean and ship shape.

By the numbers the vessel is 160 meters long, and 28 meters wide making it the largest double ended ferry in the world.

The MV Coastal Renaissance cost 170 million dollars. The price did include a free tank of gas.

With a report from CTV British Columbia's David Kincaid.
