Police in Surrey, B.C., have issued a public warning after a nine-year-old girl was sexually assaulted inside her home Friday morning.
According to RCMP, the young girl was attacked inside her own home in the 10300-block of 149th Street around 3:45 a.m.
Police are looking for a white man of average height and medium build in his 30s.
Investigators have spoken with the victim and are now interviewing neighbours and canvassing the neighbourhood.

Police are not connecting this attack with another recent incident, in which a Surrey woman was sexually assaulted at knifepoint on April 12.
